1 Czechoslovakia had ratified CERD on 29 December 1966, CCPR on 23 December 1975, CCPR OP 1 on 12 March 1991, CESCR on 23 December 1975, CEDAW on 16 February 1982, CAT on 7 July 1988, CRC on 7 January 1991, and subsequently Czechoslovakia dissolved into the states of Czech Republic and Slovakia. In a letter dated 16 February 1993, the Government of the Czech Republic, as a successor state, notified the Secretary-General that it considered itself bound, as of 1 January 1993, i.e., the date of dissolution of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, by multilateral international treaties to which the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic was a party on that date.

4 In its concluding observations adopted on 18 August 2003, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination recommended that the State party submit its sixth and seventh periodic reports jointly, due on 1 January 2006.

6 In its concluding observations adopted on 9 March 2007, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and recommended that the State party submit its eighth and ninth periodic reports in a single document, due on 1 January 2010.

8 In its concluding observations adopted on 30 August 2011, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and recommended that the tenth and eleventh periodic reports be submitted in a single document, due on 1 January 2014.
