1 In its concluding observations adopted on 20 November 2003, the Committee Against Torture requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and invited the State party to submit its second periodic report by 13 May 2005.


2 The Committee requested further clarification regarding the additional information submitted by the State party (see A/60/44, page 50). On 14 May 2007, the state party submitted further information (CAT/C/LVA/CO/1/Add.1) (see A/64/44, page 126).


3 In its concluding observations adopted in November 2007, the Committee Against Torture requested that the State party submit additional information within one year, and invited the State party to submit its next periodic report, which will be considered its fifth periodic report, by 30 December 2011.


4 On 25 May 2011, the Committee made a request for further clarification (see A/66/44 (2011) at page 145).
