1 The former Yugoslavia had previously ratified CERD on 2 October 1967, CCPR on 2 June 1971, CESCR on 2 June 1971, CEDAW on 26 February 1982, CAT on 10 September 1991 and CRC on 3 January 1991. Slovenia had declared its independence from the Former Yugoslavia on 25 June 1991. Subsequently, the Government of Slovenia deposited with the Secretary-General on 1 July 1992 notifications of succession to these treaties.

2 In its concluding observations adopted on 17 May 2000, the Committee Against Torture invited the State party to submit its second periodic report by 14 August 2001.


3 In its concluding observations adopted in May 2011, the Committee Against Torture requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and requested that the State party submit its fourth periodic report by 3 June 2015.
