1 The former Yugoslavia had previously ratified CERD on 2 October 1967, CCPR on 2 June 1971, CESCR on 2 June 1971, CEDAW on 26 February 1982, CAT on 10 September 1991 and CRC on 3 January 1991. Slovenia had declared its independence from the Former Yugoslavia on 25 June 1991. Subsequently, the Government of Slovenia deposited with the Secretary-General on 1 July 1992 notifications of succession to these treaties.


2 In its concluding observations adopted at the October-November 2008 session, the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women requested that further information be submitted within two years, and invited the State party to submit its fifth and sixth periodic reports in a combined report in May 2013.
