1 The former Yugoslavia had previously ratified CERD on 2 October 1967, CCPR on 2 June 1971, CESCR on 2 June 1971, CEDAW on 26 February 1982, CAT on 10 September 1991 and CRC on 3 January 1991. Slovenia had declared its independence from the Former Yugoslavia on 25 June 1991. Subsequently, the Government of Slovenia deposited with the Secretary-General on 1 July 1992 notifications of succession to these treaties.


2 The initial, second, third and fourth periodic reports were submitted together as one document.


3 In its concluding observations adopted on 21 March 2003, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination recommended that the sixth periodic report be submitted jointly with the seventh periodic report, due on 6 July 2005.


4 The sixth and seventh periodic reports were submitted together as one document.


5 In its concluding observations adopted on 24 August 2010, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and recommended that the eighth to eleventh periodic reports be submitted in a single document, due on 6 July 2013.
