1 The former Yugoslavia had previously ratified CERD on 2 October 1967, CCPR on 2 June 1971, CESCR on 2 June 1971, CEDAW on 26 February 1982, CAT on 10 September 1991 and CRC on 3 January 1991. Slovenia had declared its independence from the Former Yugoslavia on 25 June 1991. Subsequently, the Government of Slovenia deposited with the Secretary-General on 1 July 1992 notifications of succession to these treaties.


2 In its concluding observations adopted on 25 November 2005, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights requested that the State party submit its fourth periodic report by 30 June 2010.
