1 The former Yugoslavia had previously ratified CERD on 2 October 1967, CCPR on 2 June 1971, CESCR on 2 June 1971, CEDAW on 26 February 1982, CAT on 10 September 1991 and CRC on 3 January 1991. Slovenia had declared its independence from the Former Yugoslavia on 25 June 1991. Subsequently, the Government of Slovenia deposited with the Secretary-General on 1 July 1992 notifications of succession to these treaties.


2 In its concluding observations adopted on 30 January 2004, the Committee on the Rights of the Child invited the State party to submit its third and fourth periodic reports by 24 June 2008.


3 The third and fourth periodic reports were submitted together as one document.
