1 In its concluding observations adopted on 6 November 2003, the Human Rights Committee requested that additional information be submitted within one year and that the fifth periodic report be submitted by 1 November 2007.

2 An incomplete reply was submitted in October 2005. Subsequently, at its eighty-fifth session in October 2005, the Human Rights Committee Special Rapporteur on Follow-up to State Reporting met with a State party representative, who submitted a further written reply. The Human Rights Committee has now scheduled consultations with the State party (see A/61/40 vol. I, pages 135-136 and A/62/40, vol. I, pages 130-131). Subsequently, on 16 October 2007 and 16 July 2008, further partial replies were received. The follow-up procedure is now terminated (see A/64/40, vol. I, page 172).
