DEROGATIONS: NOTIFICATIONS UNDER ARTICLE 4 (3) OF THE COVENANT
18 March 1991
Termination, as from 1 September 1989, of the state of emergency declared on 1 December 1986 in the territory of the Districts of Marowijne, Commewijne, Para, Brokopondo and in part of the territory of the district of Sipaliwini (between the Marowijne river and 56O WLO). The articles of the Covenant being derogated from were articles 12, 21 and 22 of the Covenant.
