1 The Human Rights Committee set the date for the submission of the second periodic report at 2 August 1985.
2 In its concluding observations adopted on 30 March 2004, the Human Rights Committee requested that additional information be submitted within one year and that the State party submit its third periodic report by 1 April 2008.
3 The Human Rights Committee scheduled consultations with the State party (see A/61/40 vol. I, page 136). Subsequently, on 5 May 2008, a partial reply was received. Consultations were again held in 2008, and the State party is to provide complete answers in its third periodic report. The follow-up procedure with regard to the second periodic report is now terminated (see A/64/40, vol. I, page 175).
