1 In its concluding observations adopted in May 2005, the Committee Against Torture requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and invited the State party to submit its combined fifth and sixth periodic report by 25 June 2008.


2 The Committee Against Torture made a request for further clarification. Subsequently, on 15 May 2007, further information was submitted (CAT/C/CHE/CO/4/Add.2) (see A/64/44, page 128). On 11 November 2009, the Committee again made a request for further clarification. On 7 December 2009, the State party submitted further information (CAT/C/CHE/CO/4/Add.3) (see A/66/44 (2011) at page 142).


3 The fifth and sixth periodic reports were submitted together as one document.
