1 In its concluding observations adopted on 2 November 2005, the Human Rights Committee requested that additional information be submitted within one year, and scheduled 31 October 2009 as the date of submission of the third periodic report.
2 The Human Rights Committee decided to schedule consultations with the State party (see A/62/40, vol. I, pages 139-140). Subsequently, a partial reply was submitted on 18 April 2008 (see A/64/40, vol I). In September 2008 a further request for additional information was sent. In 2008 and 2009 reminders were sent. In October 2009, the Committee requested a meeting with a representative of the State party. In December 2009, the Committee sent a letter to the State party, inviting it to respond to all concluding observations in its next periodic report (see A/65/40 vol. I (2010), at pages 164-165).
