Thecomplaint :  3._J.J.C._ԀcontendsthathewasdeniedequalitybeforethelawandafairtrialbeforetheprovincialcourtofMontral,inviolationofarticle14.Thejudgeallegedlydisplayedahostileattitudetowardshimand"clearly_favoured_"theotherparty.Inparticular,hesubmitsthatthejudgedidnotcomplywiththerequirementsofthe"Codede_dontologie_Ԁdes_Juges_"and,accordingly,withhisprofessionalobligations,inthat:(a)herefusedtheauthor'srequesttohavethewitnessesleavethecourtroom;(b)hedeniedtheauthorthepossibilitytocrossexaminewitnesses;and(c)_hedenied_Ԁhimtherighttopleadhiscaseattheveryendofthehearing.
