CAT Optional Protocol Article 4 Country Visits of the Subcommittee on PreventionInformation is as of the 2011 annual report of the Subcommittee on Prevention and any reports released by February 2012. Under article 4 of the Optional Protocol to CAT, the Subcommittee on Prevention carries out visits to State Parties to monitor the protection afforded to persons deprived of liberty. Any reports by the Subcommittee under article 16(2) or other state-specific discussions that are published in the annual reports of the Subcommittee are contained in this section.
