The United Nations Human Rights Treaties

Information for CAT, CCPR, CEDAW, CESCR, CMW and CRPD is as of the 2011 annual report; for CERD is as of the 2010 annual report; and for CRC is current to the 2010 biennial report (A/65/41). Additional documents released by the treaty bodies by November 2011 are also included.

The treaty bodies periodically issue General Comments or General Recommendations, which are statements of interpretation of articles of the treaty or special thematic topics. Occasionally, states parties will submit comments or responses to these General Comments. Where these are published, they are included in this section.
